Arc System Works will host the finals of the “ARC WORLD TOUR 2022” to be held on March 11, 2023 (PST). The finalists who will participate in the finals are introduced in the form of interviews.
This time we introduce Lostsoul, a player in the DNF Duel!

アークシステムワークスは、2023年3月12日（日本時間）に実施される「ARC WORLD TOUR 2022」の決勝大会を開催します。決勝大会に参加するファイナリストをインタビュー形式でご紹介いたします。
今回はDNF Duel部門のLostsoul選手を紹介！

Q1.Briefly introduce yourself.
Hello!! My name is Eli “LostSoul” Rabadad and you guys probably know me from Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2 for my Elphelt play. You guys also probably know me from my POPOFF during EVO2018 on top 8 for Xrd! You guys probably also know me for making into ArcRevo finals on 2019 for Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2 and I have gotten top 4 in that one!! Now I have reached into the ArcRevo finals yet again!
Q2.Tell us about your background with fighting games.
I think I like the point system better on the first ArcRevo tour, since only one spot being available on most events, meaning to win the event itself, is quite difficult to do. The no last chance qualifier is also something that is harder to swallow, even though I understand why they didn’t do it this year. But everything is always a learning experience so I’m looking forward to more ArcRevo events being better than the last!
Q3.Looking back, what are your thoughts on the ARC WORLD TOUR 2022 qualifier tournaments?
The level in each of these tournaments has been so insanely high. I still can’t believe I managed to qualify for such a stacked final event. Especially since the match ups I had to play in the Versus Fighting Qualifier event were not my favorites at all ! It felt like the stars aligned that day and helped me to win that event ahah
Q4.Which player in the finals are you keeping an eye on the most, and why?
GO1! He’s really powerful and talented on all the games he enters, so he’s a great threat in the bracket I believe. Despite that, I really want to play him cause I think fighting him will be really fun!
Q5.Which character in the finals are you keeping an eye on the most, and why?
Crusader! My knowledge on characters may not be good, but he seems to be one of the most potential in this patch, and I heard GO1 has a mean crusader. I love to GO1 pull him out during the finals so I can see that potential!
Q6.What would you consider your specialty and appeal as a player?
I believe it’s my personality! And by personality, I mean It’s the way I like to interact with the camera and people love the energy that I give out from it. It’s also a nice way to hype myself up before the match or release the tension after the match and it gets some of the people hyped too so it’s a win-win!
Q7.Please share your motivation for the finals tournament and a word for the fans.
Motivation is something very hard to come these days for me as of late, but I’ll do my best so I can play as many people from the overseas on the big stage. I’m the only American here as well so doing my best for them helps for motivation! People, my bros, my fans, my fellow Lost Souls, please pray for me on this upcoming battle that is the ArcRevo finals!!!!!

Whatever may happen, whatever the result, I’m just glad I was able to reach the ArcRevo finals again, and in two different games too. Now, should there be a 3rd ArcRevo tour, then I’ll try my best to reach the finals in that one as well!

どうも、GUILTY GEAR XRD REV2でエルフェルト使いとして知られているEli Rabadad（LostSoul）です！EVO2018のXrdベスト8で見せた盛り上がりで多くのプレイヤーに知ってもらえたかと思います。 2019年のARCREVOでGUILTY GEAR XRD REV2のベスト4まで行けたことでも認識されているかもです！！やっと、またARCREVOで決勝大会まで行けました！
Q2.格闘ゲームのプレイ歴を教えてください。
ちょっと細かい話ですが、8歳のころから近所のゲーセンで鉄拳２、鉄拳３、Soulcalibur、マーベルVSシリーズなどの格ゲーをよく遊んでいました。その時から格ゲーがとにかく好きで、ゲーセンが閉店してしまってからは家庭用で遊ぶようになってストリートファイター2、MORTAL KOMBATシリーズなどを遊んでいました。 そのあとアニメ系の格ゲーを遊び始めて、リリース当時ではBLAZBLUEを遊んだり、GUILTY GEAR ISUKA・RELOAD・ACCENT CORE、ニトロプラス ブラスターズから、自分がコミュニティで知られているようになったきっかけであるGUILTY GEAR XRDと出会いました。オンラインプレイがメインになっていたので、ここまで来られたことが本当にうれしいです！
Q3.ARC WORLD TOUR 2022の予選大会を振り返って感想を聞かせて下さい。
初めてのARCREVOツアーで使用されたポイント制のシステムの方が個人的によかったと思います。各予選大会を優勝した選手だけが招待されるシステムはなかなか厳しいです。今年できなかった理由はなんとなくわかりますが、LCQがないことも残念です。しかし何事も経験だと思いますので、今後のARCREVOのイベントがどんどん改善されることを楽しみにしています！
Q4.FINALSで一番注目している選手と、その理由を教えて下さい。
GO1選手です！どのタイトルでも本当に強くて、今回の大会でも大きな脅威だと思います。それでもやはり対戦してて楽しいから、大会であたりたいです！
Q5.FINALSで一番注目しているキャラクターと、その理由を教えて下さい。
クルセイダーです！ちょっと自分のキャラの知識が足りないところもありますが、今のバージョンで最も可能性を秘めているキャラだと思っていますし、GO1選手のクルセイダーが恐ろしいとの噂も聞いています。決勝大会でGO1選手のクルセイダーがその可能性を見せてくれるといいな！
Q6.ご自身のプレイヤーとしての強みや魅力をお聞かせ下さい
自分の性格だと思います！積極的にカメラを意識した自分のパフォーマンスを気に入ってくれている方も多いです。 試合の前に気持ちを上げたり、試合後の緊張をほぐしたり、観客や視聴者も盛り上げられるのでいいことだらけです！
Q7.決勝大会に向けての意気込みとファンへのコメントをお聞かせ下さい
最近なかなかモチベーションを保つのが難しくなっているけど、できるだけ多くの海外の選手と大舞台で対戦できるように全力を尽くします。アメリカの選手は自分だけとなりましたので、それもいい意気込みになります！ 人々、兄弟たち、ファンのみんな、Lost Soul（迷っている魂）の仲間よ、これから行われるARCREVO決勝大会の戦いで私の武運を祈ってください！！！

何があっても、結果はどうなっても、人生で2つのタイトルでARCREVOの決勝戦まで行けたことだけですごくうれしいです。もし3回目のARCREVOツアーが行われることがありましたら、その時も決勝まで行けるように頑張ります！
