Prologue

How long has it existed? Does it even exist? It is a phenomenon shrouded in mystery.
Another "world" that exists parallel to our own, somewhere close, yet far. Real, yet unreal.

A mysterious, sealed domain, imperceptible to the untrained eye.
A place filled with the unusual power known as "EXS." Overrun by the monsters known as the "Voids."
Those who have been charmed by the "Night" and allowed entry are those with inhuman lives and supernatural abilities.
Those newly reborn individuals are known as the "In-births."

The Hollow Night is already known as a widespread rumor among the young. It's huge.
It's fierce. And it's close. And yet, the adults of "society" remain unaware of that reality.
Day after day passes as they remain in their ignorance―

Crowds gather around the powerful "In-births" as the mighty make names for themselves.
The strong clash against the strong, at times reaching mutual understanding, and at others, mutual destruction.
But this environment is now threatened by a small force. Its name ― "Amnesia."

Many gather under the "Night", each with their own expectations.
Those seeking strength, those seeking peace.
To prove themselves. To enjoy themselves. To quench their insatiable desire.

Someone's "determination" lurks in the dark of night.
A selection ceremony gathers the "In-births" to this land.
A firm chain fastens it to the past. A formless shadow creeps out from the "Abyss."

And thus, the story reaches the "Night." Cast a light upon the motives of all who enter.
